USCHO/CSTV Division I Poll National Rankings - As of 05/27/09 the Maverick Men's Hockey Team did not rank as one of the top 20 teams out of 59 NCAA Division I colleges and universities teams.
WCHA Rankings - As of 5/27/09 the Maverick Men's Hockey Team ranked 8th place out of 10 teams in the Men's Divison of the WCHA (Western Collegiate Hockey Association) - North Dakota Fighting Sioux (1st Place), Denver Pioneers (2nd place), Wisconsin Badgers (3rd Place), and Colorado College (4th place). Maverick Women were ranked 5th of 8 teams in the Women's Division of the WCHA - Minnesota Gophers (1st Place), Wisconsin Badgers (2nd Place), Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs (3rd Place), and St. Cloud State Huskies (4th Place).
USCHO PairWise Ranking for National Tournament Placement - As of May 27th, 2009, the MSU Mavericks ranked #25 of the top 25 teams. The PairWiseSM Ranking is a system which attempts to mimic the method used by the NCAA Selection Committee to determine participants for the NCAA Division I men's hockey tournament. The PWR compares the top 25 teams in the RPI Ratings Percentage Index (RPI), judging them by four criteria: record against common opponents, head-to-head competition, record against other top 25 teams if the team has faced at least 10 top 25 opponents, and the RPI.

The Blue Line Club's Hospitality Room is a "pre-game" event with its doors opening up one hour before each men's home game at the Alltel Center in Mankato, Minnesota. Men's Coach Troy Jutting briefs all those present, an attendance drawing is held with plenty of prizes, beverages are served, and food and/or snacks are available.
During the 1st Period Intermission the Blue Line Club's Maverick Corral in open with its own smaller attendance drawing, beverages, and protected bathrooms. The "protected" restrooms benefit is no joke as Club members would otherwise have to wait in long lines to use the more public bathrooms. The Maverick Corral is under the stairs right in the Alltel Center and is a smaller room so not everybody gets to sit for the duration of the intermission between periods
Club President Troy Werk Club President and Vice President Sherry Stagg invite all Club members to let the Club's leadership know what you think about Club activities and programs. The Board meets the 2nd Monday of Every Month @ 4 pm in MSU's Bud Myers Field House
