Every year, the MSU Mavericks and the UNO Mavericks come together for two spectacular games between two rivals. The team which comes out with the largest total score in the two game series takes home the "Spirit of the Maverick" Traveling Trophy. It was created in a joint effort by the Blue Line Clubs of each university, and currently calls MSU its home.
