Watch The Mavericks in NCAA Tournament

Mankato, Minn. -- For the fifth time in school history the Maverick women's soccer team has earned a trip to the NCAA Division II playoffs.
The fifth-seeded Mavericks open the 48-team tournament Friday when they take on fourth-seeded Minnesota Duluth in Denver, Colo.
The 2009 NCAA Central Region Women's Soccer Tournament kicks of Friday afternoon hosted by Metro State. The match will be held on Auraria Field at 2 p.m. central time.

The winner of the Minnesota State and Minnesota Duluth match will advance to the second round of tournament play where they will face Metro State Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. central time.
