Ellworth Earns Share of NSIC Golfer of the Week Honors

Mankato, Minn. --- Minnesota State women's golfer Kassie Ellsworth was named Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Women's Co-Golfer of the Week Tuesday.
Ellsworth, a Hayward, Wis., native, shot rounds of 75 and 76 for a 36-hole total of 151 to share medalist honors over the weekend at the season-opening Augustana Invitational. The Mavericks finished second as a team.
Ellsworth shares the weekly honor with Concordia-St. Paul senior Anne Martin, who earned top honors at the Augustana Invitational with a two-day total of 151 and led the Golden Bears to a first-place team finish.
The Mavericks compete in the Concordia Invitational Saturday and Sunday in St. Paul in their next action.
