MSU Finishes Fourth Out of Five in the Oz Memorial

Minneapolis, Minn. --- The Minnesota State women's cross country team finished fourth out of five teams in the 2009 6k Oz Memorial. Sophomore Ali Paul finished in the top-10 placing ninth with a time of 22:51.

Senior Amanda Dettman finished 37th with a time of 24:57, while freshman Kelsey Magnsuson recorded a time of 25:03 putting her in 40th place. Closing out the top five MSU runners was senior Meagan McConnell finishing 42nd with a time of 25:07.

Also running for the Mavericks was junior Jenny Hoese (25:25), freshman Katherine Anundson (25:39), sophomore Jen Lang (27:24) and sophomore Jennifer Duley (28:13).

Minnesota State returns to action September 19, 2009 in Northfield, Minn. for the St. Olaf Invitational.
