Ritter Named NSIC Women's Golfer of the Week

Mankato, Minn. — Minnesota State women’s golfer Kathleen Ritter was named Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Women’s Golfer of the Week Monday.
Ritter, a junior from Red Wing, Minn., earned medalist honors with rounds of 80 and 75 at the Mustang Invitational Saturday and Sunday in Marshall, Minn. Ritter’s 36-hole total of 155 helped her earn a share of medalist honors and helped lead the Mavericks to a fourth-place finish in the 14-team invite.
Ritter leads the Mavericks in stroke average after three events this fall with a 78.8 mark.
The Mavericks are slated to compete Saturday and Sunday at the Winona Invitational in Winona, Minn.
