Cabot Arkansas --- Minnesota State went 2-2 in final day action to finish seventh at the 2010 Mid-Winter Invitational.

The thirteenth-rated Mavericks dropped a 723-721 decision to #15 Alabama A & M in their first match of the day before responding with a 937 -833 victory over #3 Delaware State. A 716-687 win oer 20th-rated Morgan State preceded a 823-766 defeat at the hands of #6 Nebraska.

Top-rated Maryland-Eastern Shore claimed top honors in the 14-team event with 12,098 pins. The Mavericks knocked down 11,429 pins in the three-day event in finishing seventh.

Next action for the Mavericks is the 2010 Griffin Invitational in St. Louis, Mo., Feb. 5-7.
