Liz Trauger (Livermore, Iowa) has been named to the ESPN the Magazine All-District V Second Team.
To be eligible for the ESPN the Magazine Academic All-District teams, student-athletes must maintain a 3.30 grade point average. The teams are voted on upon by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
Trauger owns a 3.83 GPA as an accounting and corporate finance major. She has started in all 20 games this season for the Mavericks and is leading the team in scoring averaging 14.4 points per game, grabbing 6.1 rebounds per game and 21 blocks. Last weekend Trauger became the 17th Maverick to post 1,000 career points.
The Minnesota State Mavericks will play host this weekend to Minnesota Crookston and MSU Moorhead. Both games are slated for 6 p.m. starts.
