Maverick Women Track and Field Sit First in Region

Mankato, Minn. --- The Minnesota State men and women indoor track and field teams are ranked first in the USTFCCCA NCAA Division II Regional Team rankings, which were released last week.
The men earned 290.17 points, giving them the highest ranking in the central. The only other Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference team in the top-five is third-ranked MSU Moorhead.
The women earned 286.45 points, giving them the top spot in the central. Other NSIC teams in the top-five include: The University of Mary (3rd) and Winona State (4th).
