Winterhaven, Fla. — The Minnesota State vs. Grand Valley State (Mich.) nonconference baseball game scheduled for today (Saturday) in Winterhaven, Fla., was cancelled due to rain.
MSU, which got in five of the nine games it was supposed to play in the Sunshine State during the course of a week-long trip over spring break, returns to Minnesota owning a 9-5 mark for 2010.
The Mavericks will play Quincy (Ill.) Tuesday in Minneapolis in the Metrodome in a nonconference doubleheader slated for a 5:00 p.m. start.
