13 Mavericks Garner 2009-10 All-WCHA Academic Honors

Madison, Wis. — Minnesota State has a total of 13 student-athletes named to the 2009-10 All-Western Collegiate Hockey Association Academic Team.
To qualify for the All-WCHA Academic Team, student-athletes must have completed one year of eligibility at present institution prior to the current academic year, and have a grade point average of at least 3.0 for the previous two semesters or three quarters.
A pair of MSU seniors are now three-time recipients of the award in defenseman Nick Canzanello and forward Jason Wiley.
Juniors named for the second time are defenseman Channing Boe, forward Rylan Galiardi, forward Andrew Sackrison, defenseman Ben Youds. Sophomore goaltender Austin Lee also is on the team for a second time.
Making their first appearances on the team are sophomore defenseman Cameron Cooper, senior forward James Gaulrapp, senior forward Zach Harrison, sophomore forward Justin Jokinen, senior forward Kael Mouillierat and sophomore forward Joe Schiller.
