Distance Medley Finishes Seventh, Mokaya Advances to Finals

Alburquerque, N.M.The Minnesota State men’s track & field team participated in the first day of action at the 2010 NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships in Alburquerque, N.M.

 

The distance medley made up of seniors Jonathan Stoltman, Denies Mokaya, Sam Lance and freshman Eric Anenson finished seventh with a time of 10:12.83.

 

Mokaya also participated in the 800-meter dash preliminaries and finished first with a time of 1:51.90, qualifying for tomorrow’s finals which will take place tomorrow afternoon at 5:40 p.m. CST.

 

Sophomore Dan Novak will compete in the pole vault finals tomorrow at 4:00 p.m. CST.
