Mavericks Conclude Action At National Championships

CANTON, OHIO --- The Minnesota State women’s swimming and diving team finished 26th at the 2010 NCAA Division II National Championships.  The Mavericks compiled 20 points in the event.

Drury won the event with 657 points.

Individually, senior Angela Krych turned in a 20th-place finish in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of :52.27.

Krych, joined sophomore Emily Timm, junior Chelsea Chapman and senior Kim Christensen on the 400—yard freestyle relay.  The quartet just missed advancing to the finals as it turned in an 18th-place finish with a time of 3:32.41.
