St. Paul, Minn. --- The office of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference has announced that senior guard
Tiffany Moe and senior forward
Liz Trauger have been named to the NSIC All-Conference First Team.
This is the second all-conference award for both seniors, with the first coming last season where Moe received second-team and Trauger with third-team.
Moe finished second on the team in scoring with 12.9 points per game, while shooting 39.4 percent from the field. She also surpassed the 1,000-career point mark this season and finished with 1,147 career points, 14th on MSU's all-time scoring list. Moe made her way onto MSU's career assists list dishing out 518 assists, placing her third on the list. She tallied a career-high 20 points this season against U-Mary at home (12/11).
Trauger led the Mavericks in scoring with 14.3 points per game, while shooting 48.3 percent from the field. She finished second on the team in rebounding with 6.3 rebounds per game. Trauger also surpassed the 1,000-career point mark this season and finished with 1,116 career points, 15th on MSU's all-time scoring list. She made her way into MSU's 800-point/500-rebound club at 11th with 1,116 points and 669 career rebounds. Trauger tallied a career-high 28 points this season against Minnesota Crookston (2/5) and finished with six career double-doubles.
The Minnesota State Mavericks finished the 2009-10 season with an overall record of 15-13 and 10-10 in the NSIC.
