Indianapolis, Ind. --- The Minnesota State softball team moved up to second in the central region of the NCAA Division II Softball Regional Rankings released today.
The Mavericks are the top-rated team from the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference in this week's poll. Other NSIC teams ranked include, Winona State #3, Wayne State #4, Augustana #5, Minnesota Duluth #6, Concordia St. Paul #8, and St. Cloud State #9.
MSU swept Winona State last week in nonconference action before splitting with Southwest Minnesota State in the first games of NSIC play.
Minnesota State (15-5) hosts St. Cloud State in a doubleheader today, first pitch slated for 2 p.m.
