FISHKILL — The tutorials often took place in the Colorado Rockies' clubhouse at Coors Field.
Maybe outfielder Larry Walker would pull Geno Glynn over to his locker and talk to him about the art of taking a pitch the other way.
Or Vinny Castilla would share with Glynn a funny story about his days as a prospect in the minors.
Back then, Glynn was just a kid who dreamed of playing in the majors.
These days, Glynn, 23, plays first base for the Hudson Valley Renegades. And as he plugs away in Class A ball, Glynn thinks his play and moments with stars like Walker, Castilla and Eric Young will help him move through the Tampa Bay Rays' organization.
