San Juan, Puerto Rico --- The Minnesota State men’s tennis team suffered a 7-0 loss to the University of Connecticut Wednesday in San Juan Puerto Rico.

The match was played with the NCAA Division I format, with doubles counting as one point (meaning first team to win two doubles matches, wins the point).

The closest singles match for the Mavericks came at the #3 flight where senior Heather Jensen dropped a 7-5, 6-2 decision.

Minnesota State returns to action Friday the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras.
