About Bemidji State: BSU enters the series with the Mavericks standing 11-11-2 overall, 5-9-2 WCHA on the year. The Beavers, who were idle last weekend, fell twice at Denver (6-3, 3-2) Jan. 13-14 in their last outings. BSU had won its previous five contests before dropping those games to the Pioneers.
BSU is led offensively by junior forward Jordan George (12-7--19). Senior defenseman Brad Hunt (4-13--17) and senior forward Shea Walters (8-7--15), along with junior forward Brance Orban (4-11--15) round out the top four scorers.
Senior Dan Bakula (5-7-1, 2.74, .907) has started 15 of 24 games in net, with freshman Andrew Walsh (6-3-1, 2.19, .923) getting eight starts.
