Waco, Texas --- The Minnesota State football team – fresh off a 30-20 victory at Winona State – jumped two spots from ninth to seventh in this week’s edition of the American Football Coaches Association NCAA Division II Top-25 Poll.
The ranking is the highest of any team from the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference as Minnesota Duluth is ranked eighth and Sioux Falls is ranked 21st. The rating also marks the 26th time that MSU has appeared in the top-ten of the poll and the third straight week in which it has done so.
Minnesota State (8-0, 8-0 NSIC) concludes the road portion of its schedule Saturday as it travels to Wayne State. Kickoff against the Wildcats is slated for 1 p.m.
