Mavericks Remain Sixth in AFCA Poll

Waco, Texas --- The Minnesota State football team remained sixth in this week’s American Football Coaches Association Top-25 poll after defeating then 17th-ranked Sioux Falls, 27-13 last week.

The Mavericks are one of three teams from the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference in the top-25, joining tenth-ranked Minnesota Duluth and 22nd-ranked Sioux Falls.   The rating also marks the 28th time that MSU has appeared in the top-ten of the poll and the fifth straight week in which it has done so.

The Mavericks (10-0, 10-0 NSIC) conclude the regular Saturday when they entertain Upper Iowa at 1 p.m.
