Mavericks Back In NFCA Poll at #16

Starkville, Miss. --- The Minnesota State softball team (17-4) climbed back into the National Fastpitch Coaches Association Poll to No. 16 on Wednesday.
 
Minnesota State is one of three Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference teams in the top-25, joining #7 Winona State and #23 Augustana.
 
The Mavericks are on an eight-game winning streak heading into the weekend where the Maverick pitching staff owns a 0.33 earned run average with opponents hitting just .143 in that span. MSU is coming off a 13-1 in its trip to the Rebel Spring Games in Kissimmee, Fla.
 
Sixteenth-ranked Minnesota State (17-4) travels to the Winona State University Dome Tournament on Saturday and Sunday.
