Minnesota State's Kathleen Reynolds is in her second season with the Mavericks where she is majoring in correctional law. Reynolds was born August 11, 1990 to Craig and Rorie Reynolds. The 5-7 senior guard was a three-year starter and lettered four times in basketball at East High in hometown Sioux City, Iowa. She started her collegiate career at Northern State University where she appeared in 16 games. Reynolds then transferred to MSU and had to sit out a year due to transfer rules. Her junior year she appeared in nine games and averaged 3.8 minutes per game. In those games she recorded four rebounds, two assists, and scored two points.

Head coach Emilee Thiesse said this about Reynolds, "Kathleen is a joy to be around.  She is a very high-energy person and she brings that same spark and vivacity to the court when she plays.  Despite her battle with injuries this season, Kath keeps a positive attitude and is a great teammate."
