Bemidji, Minn. --- The Minnesota State women's track and field team finished in fourth place at the NSIC Championships totaling 77.16 points. Their fourth-place finish is the highest they have placed since finishing third at the meet in 2010.

In the triple jump junior
Anna Veroeven finished in second place with a leap of 38' 8 ¼". Sophomore
Faryn Wirkus and junior
Bryanna Sudman paced the Mavericks in the pole vault with vaults of 12' finishing in a tie for second place.

Freshman
Maddi Sjellin earned eight points for the Purple and Gold for her second-place finish in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:16.35. Freshman
Taylor Glover place fourth in the 600-meter run crossing the finish line with a time of 1:36.29.

Sophomore
Holly Suss had a fourth-place finish in the 200-meter dash finishing with a time of 25.65. Freshman
Brieanna Puckett also had a fourth-place but in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.86.

The Mavericks will now wait to see who will be competing at the NCAA Division II National Meet. This year's meet will be held in Winston Salem, N.C. on March 14 and 15.
