Mavericks Rank 14th at 2015 NCAA Central Region Meet

Sophomore Michael Hoff finished 65th as Minnesota State's top individual at the 2015 NCAA Regional Meet Saturday

Joplin, Mo. --- The Minnesota State men's cross country team completed its 2015 season by posting a 14th-place finish at the 2015 NCAA Division II Central Region Meet held in Joplin, Mo., Saturday.

Augustana won the 27-team, 10K-competition with a score of 82 points and was followed by East Central (Okla.) (104), Nebraska-Kearney (119), Southwest Baptist (142) and MSU-Moorhead (187).

The Mavericks, who combined for 396 points, were led by sophomore Michael Hoff posted a time of 32:16.87 to place 65th.

Freshman Caleb Burke (32:16.87) was 74th for Minnesota State and was followed by freshman Steven Erredge (32:48.01, 84th), sophomore Brendan Gessner (32:51.19, 86th), senior Matthew Longen (32:51.20, 87th), freshman Derek Cruz (33:22.27, 108th) and freshman Austin Pasch (34:01.37, 129th).
