Minneapolis, Minn. --- After a busy, record-filled weekend just seven days ago, the Minnesota State men's track and field team took a lighter approach this time around.
Coach Jim Dilling chose to rest many of the student-athletes in preparation for the NSIC Conference Championships. A select few made the quick journey north to Minneapolis to take part in the Snowshoe Open.
Zechariah Copeland (Brookfield, Wis) shined in the 60-meter hurdles cruising to a fourth-place finish with a final time of 8.67.
Sophomore Bryan Caffin (Hudson, Wis.) returned to Mankato with two top-ten finished to his name. He was second in the weight throw with a toss of 47'9" and followed that with a ninth-place finish in the shot put at 48'0.5".
