Mankato, Minn. --- It was another busy day for the Minnesota State men's track & field team with the Mavericks having individuals competing in St. Paul Saturday at the Holst Invitational.
Freshman
Reid Diamond played a big role in Minnesota State's succes at the meet, posting a second-place finish in the 400m (:48.94), a sixth-place finish in the 100m (10.65) and along with
Javontee Brice,
John Schuster and
Tanner Ogren, helped lead the Mavericks to a first-place result in the 4x400m relay with a meet-record time of 3:16.31.
Freshman
Derek Cruz finished second in the 3000m steeple chase (9:53.56) and senior
Matthew Stocker was second in the 1500m (3:59.62). Freshman
Logan Bristol turned in a second-place finish in the high jump (6-06). Results from the meet are available

Next action for the Mavericks is the Macalester Twilight Meet at Macalester April 28.
