St. Paul, Minn. --- The Minnesota State men's track and field team returned to action tonight for the Bolstorff Twilight Meet at Macalester College.
Competing today for the Mavericks were the distance runners and a few throwers.

In the 5000-meter run, Caleb Burke finished 10^th with a time of 15:09.30. Teammate Steven Erredge placed 15^th in 15:34.89. Michael Hoff has a time of 15:45.85 and Matt Longen came in at 15:59.62.

The 400-meetr hurdles saw Kevin Martinson place third in a time of 57.16.

In the fields events Sam Udermann placed ninth in the discus throw with a toss of 40.48m. He would place eighth in the hammer throw with a toss of 47.72m. Fellow Maverick Bryan Caffin would place third in the hammer throw with a mark of 52.47m.
