Falcon Heights, Minn. --- The Minnesota State men's cross country team turned in a tenth-place finish at the Roy Griak Invitational held in Falcon Heights, Minn., Saturday.
There were forty teams competing at the event held at Les Bolstad Golf Course.
Augustana paced the 8k field with a meet-best 8 points. The Mavericks tallied 341 points in placing tenth.
Sophomore
Caleb Burke paced the Mavericks with a team-best time of 27:34.0 in placing 50th at the meet. Sophomore
Steven Erredge (27:39) turned in 54th-place finish, while freshman
Austin Yardley (27:49) was 70th.
Other Maverick individuals and their finishes included sophomore
Derek Cruz (27:54, 76th), senior
Brendan Gessner (28:04, 91st), sophomore
Austin Pasch (28:34.0, 127th) and freshman
Isaiah Rabata (29:15, 184th).
