1. Why should I join the Minnesota State University Rewards Program.
The program is a great way to spread school spirit and meet new people while cheering the Maverick athletic teams to victory. IT'S PART OF YOUR COLLEGE EXPERIENCE! We're all proud of our school and excited to help our teams win by supporting their achievements and creating a home site advantage that is unique to Minnesota State University. Additionally, you receive terrific benefits just for attending games and your $10 investment in the program.
2. How does the Rewards Program work?
Students use their MavCard to attend the games, once you have entered the venue locate the Student Rewards Kiosk near the student entrance. A staff member will scan your MavTag and distribute rewards accordingly.
3. I forgot my MavTag, can I still receive my loyalty points?
MavTags are necessary to receive loyalty points at eligible events.
4. I lost my MavTag, can I get a replacement.
The first MavTag replacement is free. Additional replacements cost $5 for a reorder.
5. I was at the game last week but didn't get my MavTag scanned, can I receive my points today?
You must get your MavTag scanned at the event to receive points.
6. What events are eligible to receive Rewards Points?
As a team member you can score loyalty points by getting your MavTag scanned at the MSU Alumni Association Rewards table at all home Maverick varsity volleyball, football, soccer, menice hockey, women's ice hockey, men's and women's basketball, wrestling, baseball and softball events. Watch for select events which may be worth additional points.
7. Do my points roll over from year to year?
You will have the chance to renew your membership for the next year in the spring. However all scoring is based on one school year and everyone returns to zero at the start of a new year. Each member is then able to earn more prizes as they rebuild their loyalty levels the following year. Each year members also receive new T-shirts and member items.
8. What if I go to two events in one day? Will I get points for two events? And what about double headers?
Each game is a separate event, regardless of the date. If you go to a women's basketball game in the afternoon and stick around for the men's game at night, you can get two separate scans. If you go to a baseball doubleheader and are scanned at both games, you get points for two events.
