2010: Named Third Team All-American and Rawlings/ABCA Gold Glove First Team after crafting 10-2 record with a 3.74 ERA in 16 appearances, including 14 starts …64 strikeouts and 18 walks in 91.1 innings pitched… Voted MSU’s Most Valuable Pitcher and named to the NSIC All-Academic Team… Daktronics Central Region Pitcher of the Year, Rawlings/ABCA Central Region Pitcher of the Year and NCBWA Central Region Pitcher of the Year… Also named to Daktronics, Rawlings/ABCA and NCBWA Central All-Region First Teams … Recorded three shutouts and four complete games… Named NSIC Pitcher of the Week after a complete game shutout against SCSU (5/2).    

2009: Compiled 4-1 record in three starts and 12 appearances...Fourth in ERA (4.29) and had one complete game... Pitched 35.2 innings with 36 strikeouts and 10 walks... Allowed 29 hits.  

High School: Three-year letterwinner was named All-Lake Conference Honorable Mention, All-State Honorable Mention, All-Section, and East vs. West Showdown participant as a high school senior...Finished 2008 with 7-3 overall record... Struckout 86 with an ERA of 1.66...Also member of Irish basketball team.  

Personal: Born October 9, 1989...son of Rich and Barb Schwartz.
