Biography

2010-11: Made second appearance at the NCAA Division II National Championship where he failed to place after posting a 1-2 record...Went 2-1 at regional tournament which was good enough for second place...Finished junior season with an 11-9 overall record and a 7-4 dual match record.

2009-10: Medical redshirt.

2008-09: Qualified for NCAA Division II National Championships at 197 pounds in first season as a Maverick...Went 1-2 at the national meet and did not place...Went 3-0 with two falls to capture capture NCAA North Regional title...Earned seven falls and three technical falls on the season, both tied for second on team charts...Posted an overall record of 22-11.

2007-08: Redshirted after transferring from Northern Iowa.

High School: Captured a Minnesota state championship in 2007 at 215 pounds for Owatonna High School...Posted a perfect 45-0 record on the season...Also placed third as a junior and fourth as a sophomore...Went 107-14 during that span...2006 USA Wrestling Junior Greco-Roman national champion...Coached by Scot Davis.
