Biography
2013-14 (Senior): Played in 34 games for the Mavericks, including 24 starts…Averaged 11 points and 2.8 rebounds per game…Led the team in three point field goals with 87…Shot 42.9% from behind the arc and 45.7% from the field…Scored at least 21 points in five games, including a season-high 26 points against Minnesota Duluth…Recorded six three point field goals in five games, including a 6-of-10 showing against Harding in the first round of the NCAA Tournament…Connected on 36-of-41 shots from the line for a 87.8 free throw percentage…Passed out 31 assists and recorded 19 steals.
Pre-MSU: A 6-5 transfer student out of Black Hills State, Adler finished the 2012-13 season as the Yellow Jackets’ leading scorer averaging 17.1 points, to go along with an average 4.3 rebounds in 25 games...Shot 42.4% from the field and 80.8% from the free throw line, en route to receiving Second Team All-RMAC honors...Posted 32 points against South Dakota State in an exhibition contest, which included a 7-of-11 performance from beyond the arc...As a true freshman, Adler helped his team win the Dakota Athletic Conference championship and an appearance in the NAIA Tournament...As a sophomore, he averaged 7.6 points per game, while helping his squad to the “Sweet 16” of the NAIA Tournament.
High School: Was a three sport athlete at lead/Deadwood High School in football, basketball, and track & field...Earned three All-Black Hills Conference honors in basketball, and was All-State as a junior and senior...Averaged over 20 points per game as a junior and senior.
