Bob Will
Outfielder
Bob Will (MSU '52-'55) played in 410 games the Chicago Cubs ('57-'63) and hit .247 with nine homers and 87 runs batted in with the National League organization. Born in Berwyn, Ill., and signed by the Cubs as a free agent in 1954, Will was 25 years old when he broke into the big leagues on April 16, 1957.
Will was an outstanding college football, basketball and baseball player at MSU where he led the conference in batting in a .600 average, led the football team in total yards and touchdowns and was a basketball team captain in 1955. Named
MSU's Athlete of the Year in 1954, he was inducted into the
MSU Hall of Fame in 1966 and ranked third on MSU's list of
Male Athletes of the Century.
Jerry Terrell
Infielder
Jerry Terrell (MSU '65-'68) saw action in 657 major league games with the Twins ('73-'77) and Royals ('78-'80). Selected in the 18th round, 407th overall, by the Twins in the 1968 draft, Terrell totalled 657 at bats in eight major league seasons and hit .253 with four home runs and 125 runs batted in.
During the course of his MSU baseball career he compiled a .301 career batting average and established school records for doubles and RBI. He helped MSU to a second-place regional finish in 1965 and a third-place finish in 1966 when he was named a
All-Northern Intercollegiate Conference Second Team second baseman. Terrell, who was born in Waseca, Minn., was inducted into
MSU's Hall of Fame in 1981.

Gary Mielke
Righthander
Gary Mielke (MSU '82-'85) made 79 appearances as a reliever with the Texas Rangers from '87-'90. Born in St. James, Minn., Mielke totalled 93.2 innings with the Rangers and sported a 3.56 earned run average to go along with his 1-3 won-loss record. He was a 26th-round selection (655th overall) by the Rangers in the 1985 MLB draft.
As a Maverick, Mielke went 15-9 with a 3.55 ERA and 118 Ks in 162 innings for his career. Mielke, who was named the
North Central Conference Pitcher of the Year in 1985 when he established a league record with a 0.00 earned run average after working 20 innings without allowing an earned run, was inducted into
MSU's Hall of Fame in 1999.

Todd Revenig
A righthanded pitcher,
Todd Revenig (MSU '88-'90) became the fourth MSU baseball player to make a major league appearance when he debuted for the Oakland Athletics against the Boston Red Sox in 1992. "Rev" battled injuries after seeing action in two games with the A's in 1992 and his career major league totals included two appearances, no runs allowed and one strike out in two innings of work. Revenig was drafted in the 37th round, 981st overall, by Oakland in 1990 and went on to a career of 13 professional baseball seasons.
Named
All-North Central Conference his junior season in 1990, the Baxter, Minn., native led the nation with a school-record ten saves in 1990 and had 12 saves during course of his three-year MSU career. Revenig held opponents to four earned runs and struck out 20 batters in 18.6 innings of work his junior season. He was inducted into the Minnesota State Athletics Hall of Fame in 2017.
