As the Director of Athletics I have a vision for continuing growth and development, as we aspire to move MSU athletics to even higher levels of future success. I am confident that your dedication, interest and support will help us to achieve the lofty goals that we are seeking to attain.
The financial resources so generously provided by our corporate partners, booster club members, athletic donors, and alumni supporters are certainly appreciated and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our young people who proudly carry the banner for the university and our program. We are grateful for the investment you have made with us and we will work extremely hard to earn your continued commitment to Maverick athletics.
While we have achieved a good deal of success both on and off the field in recent years, the increasing costs of higher education, including dramatically rising scholarship expenses, have combined to create a financial pressure that will only be met by redoubling our fundraising efforts in the years ahead.
To meet these challenges in the coming years, we will seek to broaden corporate relationships, expand the breadth of our marketing inventory, strengthen fan and booster support, initiate several new fundraising events and activities, while also concentrating on increasing the existing scholarship endowment base in the university's upcoming capital campaign.
