Wondering how to get involved in this great fundraiser? Here's your steps.
To become a walker, select one of the following choices:
- Get your registration form by either stopping at the Athletic Office on the MSU campus at 135 Myers Field House or calling the office at 507-389-6111.
- Complete the following registration form, click submit and an MSU Athletics staff member will contact you to finalize your payment plan.
- Print out the following registration form, complete it and mail it in with your check to: Women's Walk, MSU Athletic Department, 135 Myers Field House, Mankato, MN 56001.
- If you are interested in creating your own team of walkers, contact Cindy Hobbs directly at 507-389-5351.
Tips for getting donations:
- Just ask! Be positive and enthusiastic. This is a fun event for you, and the money is going toward educating our female student-athletes who will be our educators, businesswomen and community leaders of tomorrow.
- Some suggestions of people you may ask:
- neighbors, friends or relatives
- co-workers or clients
- those you do business with (dentists, doctors, hair-stylists, etc.)
- groups you are involved with (sport leagues, clubs, hobbies, church groups, etc.)
- Remind anyone who pledges $5 or more to you that they will receive a receipt from the MSU Foundation for their gift.
Our goal per walker is $50. However, to be eligible for special prize drawings, walkers must raise $100 or more and have it turned in to the Athletic Department by Wednesday, April 9th. There is no maximum amount! Walkers will be included in prize drawings for raising $100, $200, $300 or more. The more money you raise, the more you will be able to positively impact a female student-athlete at MSU.
