Camp sessions are conducted on the Minnesota State University Campus. Facilities include the Taylor Center in Bresnan Arena, Myers Field house, and Schellburg Gymnasium. Campers will also have supervised access to the Highland Center Pool.
All overnight campers will stay in the same campus dormitories as the coaching staff to ensure 24 hour supervision. Campers will be placed two to a room according to grade unless otherwise specified by a rooming request. A $30 key deposit is required at registration and will be returned to the camper at check-out upon receipt of the room key.
** Campers who attend consecutive camps will receive free housing for the night between camps.
All meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) will be served in the Carcowski Dining Hall. Overnight campers will have the opportunity to order pizza and/or sandwiches to eat after the last session of each night. Campers are encouraged to bring plenty of water and fluids to ensure proper hydration throughout the camp.
All campers, both resident and commuter, should bring court shoes, knee pads, and a gym bag to secure all belongings during and between sessions. All campers are advised to bring an extra pair of socks, knee pads, t-shirt, and spandex to change into after each session.
Overnight campers should bring a set of twin bed size sheets, blanket and pillow along with all necessary toiletries, towel, practice clothing (3 t-shirts per day recommended), swimsuit, alarm clock and fan. An umbrella and/or raincoat is also advised in case of rainy weather. It is recommended that campers bring a small amount of money for night time snacks, vending machines, and the camp store.
Commuter campers once registered will be dropped off and picked up at the Taylor Center. Lunch and dinner meals are included daily for all commuters.
All campers receive a MSU Volleyball Camp t-shirt (please indicate size on registration form).
Pizza, sub sandwiches, and drinks will be available at the camp for overnight campers at the end of the last camp session each day. Campers can pre-order pizza or sandwiches by filling out an order form and handing it to the camp store during the lunch or dinner breaks. Pre-payment is required.
A certified sports medicine trainer will be on staff at all times and available to campers for the entire camp. Any chronic injuries, illnesses, or other health related issues should be expressed in writing before the camp begins.
In the unlikely event that a serious or camp inhibiting injury should occur the listed emergency contact will be immediately notified.
