Coaching StaffThe single most important factor to the MSU Camps is a superb coaching staff. In addition to Maverick volleyball players and coaching staff, the camp will consist of outstanding NCAA & NAIA collegiate players, FIVB Professionals, high school coaches, and highly respected junior development coaches form the Minnesota Area.
MSU Head Coach Dennis Amundson"Aame" enters his third season as head coach of the Mavericks. Since taking the helm of the Lady Mavs Aame has improved the program to a winning record and lead the team to the NCAA Division II Regional Tournament. Considered one of the premiere setting and technical coaches in the State, Aame has a gift for teaching and developing the skills necessary for success on the court.
Before coming to MSU, Aame enjoyed eight seasons as a volunteer coach with the Univeristy of Minnesota. He helped lead the Gophers to seven NCAA appearances, five Sweet 16 appearances, one regional and Big Ten Championship, and an appearance in the Final Four.
Assistant Coach Lori WollmuthA former University of Wisconsin Volleyball player, Lori helped the Badgers to a Sweet 16 appearance, two Elite Eight appearances, one NCAA Division I Championship match, and two Big Ten Championships.
After graduation Lori spent two years playing FIVB volleyball in Barcelona, Spain and Zagreb, Croatia. Her experience and knowledge of what it takes to become a top level program, as well as her positional versatility provides endless knowledge in the skills and techniques of volleyball.
