Kelly Alexander was hired at Minnesota State in September of 2019. Her primary duties include providing Athletic Training practice and game coverageĀ for MSU women's basketball and softball teams, including prevention, evaluation, care and rehabilitation of athletic injuries.
She also works as an instructor and supervisor of athletic training students in the graduate athletic training program and maintains rosters, orthopedic evaluations and treatment notes and other electronic medical records.
Prior to Minnesota State, Alexander was a Licensed Athletic Trainer in the Mayo Clinic Health System in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, working with student-athletes at UW-Stout and UW-Eau Claire from 2017-19.
Kelly has also held the role as Rehabilitation Specialist at Indiana State University, Athletic Trainer at The Therapy Centers in Colorado Springs, Colorado and Athletic Trainer at Emporia State University, Colorado State University-Pueblo, Colorado Christian University and Chatfield High School. She has also been employed by the Minnesota Lynx and United States Air Force.
Alexander resides in Mankato.
