Mankato, Minn.--- The Minnesota State women’s hockey team continues Western Collegiate Hockey Association play this weekend when it travels to Duluth, Minn. to take on the Bulldogs. Friday’s contest starts at 6:07 p.m. and Saturday’s starts at 3:07 p.m. Both game will be held at DECC.
Mankato, Minn. --- With a busy sports day in Mankato, Minn., the Minnesota State women’s hockey team faced the #3 Minnesota Golden Gophers in the second of a two-game series with the puck dropping at 3:07 p.m., at All Seasons Arena. The Mavericks fell short in the first match-up losing 4-1 giving them an overall record of 3-4-2 and a WCHA record of 1-4-2-1 coming into the Saturday afternoon’s game.
Mankato, Minn.--- The Maverick women welcomed the University of Minnesota to All Seasons Arena Friday night. The #3 ranked Golden Gophers came in with an 8-2-0 overall record and a 6-2-0 record in WCHA action. The Gophers used a strong second period to jump out early and rode the momentum to a 4-1 victory over the Mavericks.
