Minnesota State Seeded #5 in Central Region of NCAA Tournament

A look Ahead: The Minnesota State volleyball squad finished the regular season (26-6 and 16-4 in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference. The Mavericks earned the fifth seed in the central region of the NCAA Divsion II volleyball tournament and will take on fellow NSIC member , #4 Wayne State. The match will take place on Thursday, November 19, at 5:00 p.m. in St. Paul, Minn. at the Gangelhoff Center.
Mavericks Last Week: In their final home game of the season, the Mavericks played host to and defeated Minnesota State University Moorhead in a five set thriller. Minnesota State defeated MSU Moorhead in sets one, three and five by scores of 25-22, 25-23 and 15-7.
Minnesota State University then traveled to Aberdeen, South Dakota Friday evening for a NSIC showdown with the Wolves from Northern State University. The Wolves defeated the Mavericks in four sets by the scores of 25-23, 19-25, 25-23, and 24-26, respectively.
The Minnesota State Mavericks wrapped up its season in Bismark, N.D. for its final regular season game against the Mary Marauders and left with a 3-1 win. The Mavericks defeated Mary by scores of 25-10, 25-17 and 25-15.
