Campa, Ellsworth Honored By National Golf Coaches Association

Kassie Ellsworth have been honored for their success by the National Golf Coaches Association.
Campa, who guided the Mavericks to the NCAA National Tournament for the ninth time in school history, was named the Division II SkyCaddie NGCA Central Region Coach of the Year. Minnesota State concluded the season with third-place finishes in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Tournament and the NCAA Central Region Tournament before finishing 11th at the national championships earlier this month.
Ellsworth, a native of Hayword, Wis., was named to the NGCA All-Central Region squad. This season, Ellsworth posted a 81.9 stroke average and recorded seven top-10 finishes and 12 top-20 finishes. She started the season tied for medalist honors at the Augustana Fall Invitational and was second in the NCAA Central Regional tournament.
