Maverick Women’s Hockey Inks Three More to Complete 2012-13 Class

5/2/2013 3:02:00 PM

Mankato, Minn. ---  Minnesota State head women’s hockey coach Eric Means announced today that three student-athletes, forward Lauren Kirwan and defensemen Carina Randazzo and Anna-Maria Fiegert, have signed national letters of intent or institutional letters of intent to play hockey at MSU beginning next season.

This brings MSU’s 2012-13 recruiting class to five after signing forward Savannah Quandt and defenseman Sara Bustad earlier in the fall.

“I am excited to add these three players to our program,” said Means. “Fiegert has been a German National team player and skates extremely well and has very good hand skills. Randazzo has great size and moves well on the rink. She also adds toughness to our game. These two players will help make our defensive corp better. ”

All signings are contingent upon admission to MSU and compliance with NCAA rules, including certification by the NCAA Clearinghouse.
